“Kagero… I thought I made it clear not to worry yourself over me?” The crown prince let out a sigh heavier than usual once he was stopped at the door to his chambers. Even if she saw him heading to his quarters, she must’ve known that he was going to try and sneak some work in without any onlookers.

“But, seeing as how.. eager you are to appease me, I suppose it’d be wrong if I were to say no. Come, my dearest.” With that, the door creaks open and Ryoma courteously steps aside for Kagero to enter before him, a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips despite the rest of his countenance showing off obvious signs of stress.

His suspicions had rose a little, given that It’s quite rare for his lover to interrupt his training for trivial matters such as this. Had she been concerned over his bashfulness for whatever reason? Unfortunately for Inigo, his reactions were easier to read than a children’s picture book. It normally wasn’t too hard to read him to begin with, so he was pretty much doomed with how...particularly expressive he was right now. 

“...oh my.” Well, she hadn’t originally planned on this reaction from him, but she couldn’t resist teasing him now. “Gosh, did I get you all hot and bothered, Inigo?
