it's the kind of song that if it's just playing in the background cool it's catchy whatever but if I'm actually paying attention I skip it because the content is just awful
I am completely in love with this song in a weird way. I love the interaction between choir and actors and the wordplay but then again it is so awful to scream “YES” alongside Hamilton in the end just because it is sung so incredibly passionate (which is bad. bad bad bad hamilton!)

My grandmother introduced me to it. She grew up during the depression so that’s what they had as a ‘treat’ instead of like chocolate or lollies and apparently young me really liked it, i was a weird kid. Don’t worry i don’t do it now!
