In response to the events in Charlottesville last weekend and subsequent commentary, I'm reposting my NOH8 photo by Adam Bouska, and today I made donations to the Simon Wiesenthal Center and the Southern Poverty Law Center. We must do what we can to combat hate and intolerance wherever it appears!

Today, I received a word for a personal prayer for my life that I think will be helpful for many who are dealing with anxiety regarding this election. What I received was connected to something I received when I was my doctoral programl. I received a vision of a scene from The Book of Eli where he was shot in the stomach (gut shot) after having been protected from bullets for such a long time. When Solara asked him why he was still heading west and why did he give up "the book" that he vowed to never give up, his reply was: "...I forgot to live by what it taught me. ...Do more for others than you do for yourself" This image is from a scene in the movie where Eli came to a fork in the road and he chose which way to go by faith and intuition of other senses and not by sight. No matter who wins and no matter who loses, SOMEone, one side will receive a gut shot. How the win is handled by both sides will show whether or not we have forgotten to live by what the word teaches us. Make your choices by faith, by intuition of a collection of information and not by sight alone. Remain steadfast and be anxious for Nothing, because what is meant to be, will be.
