Dude, I miss my in-love gay fantasy dorks so fucking much, you have no idea. God, I need to get back to my fics for these two.

If I titled a Rireth fic as Not A Fool Now (Better Run And Hide), the premise would most likely be a fic where Richard is dealing with the low expectations of him by his family; no one expects him to be a good king, they think of him as stupid and dreamy and unfit for the role. He proves them wrong, but in an AU of sorts he starts to lose his ability to feel. 

Obviously, Richard never had that happen, he loved deeply for his entire life, but in this fic it would be different and in his attempts to be a Good King he would begin to lose that ability to love. Meaning he and Gareth never become an item. He always has this nagging feelings about Gareth, and little dreams about him while he sleeps, but every time he acknowledges them he runs away from them just as quickly because no, softness and emotions are bad.

The fic itself would probably end with Richard gaining back that softer side, probably due to Gareth saving his life - again - and the two of them being stuck caring for each other due to, I dunno, a storm that keeps them stuck or an army having destroyed the castle so that they’re trapped in just one side of it.

I don’t know. I rambled a lot, but I like the idea of a fic where Richard becomes cold and callous, but has this nagging feelings for his bodyguard that end up finally breaking his walls down when the two of them have to be comforters and confidantes to each other in a war zone.

cactus: what is your opinion on brown eyes?

they are fucking gorgeous, man. people like to talk shit but they have no imagination. eyes like whiskey? stunning. eyes like the earth after a rainfall? fucking gorgeous. eyes like seawashed sand? beautiful. eyes like caramel coffee? wonderful. dark eyes? light eyes? magnificent. i fucking love them. people need to stop hating on brown eyes, man. they’re gorgeous.

painting: what is the best halloween costume you have ever put together? if none, make one up.

i was never allowed to go out for halloween so i’ve never gotten to do a proper costume, just would play dress up at home and then watch a movie with my brother. if i could go out to halloween parties with the perfect costume though... it would probably be an angel or a demon, with elaborate wings and a unique and ethereal outfit - either something vaguely leather or armoured for demon, or flowing and still lightly armoured for angel - and some sort of makeup or contacts to add a final touch to it.

someone i’m romantically in love with probably. but by name? @faithcryptid. i think that would the most beautiful and revealing experience and would end with some of life’s biggest secrets being revealed in their eyes and their voice.

14. Talk about a vacation.

Let’s seeeee. The most memorable vacation for me was probably this cruise I took. When I was about 16, I went to a Celtic Thunder concert and found out they were doing a Celtic based cruise. I really wanted to go but my mother said I had to save the money, so I pooled all my birthday and Christmas money, and did a bunch of odd jobs and sold a bunch of stuff to be able to go.

and it was an amazing experience, even if my brother and mom hated it. i loved getting to see a new place, the view of the water from the deck was fucking beautiful and the most soothing thing in the world was to go out on deck right at sunrise, get hot chocolate from the dining hall, and go and stand on the deck and watch the sun rise over the caribbean. 

that and i got to meet several amazing dancers and singers that left a massive impact on my life - one of whom was actually the catalyst for me rejecting my homophobic views and coming to terms about my being trans. 

it was also the last time i would ever see a friend of mine - a singer in the band Celtic Thunder - alive, as he passed away from a sudden heart attack three months later. so it was an important time in my life for many reasons, and i wish i could go back again.

On other men? Leather, but man oh man do I love men in denim too. As for myself... same thing. Gotta say leather but as an animal lover, denim doesn’t give me as much of the guilt and I can pull off a nice 90s boy band member look too, lol.

5. What’s your favorite thing about boys?

E v e r y t h i n g. I love the way they tend to smile with their lips closed more often than not and it’s this cute little smirk that can be a turn on or just a heartwarming thing depending on how it’s done. I love their voices, their hands, their arms, their chests. I love the way they dress, the way they sing, the way they kiss. I just. Fucking love men and boys okay holy shit they’re fucking perfect

sorry it took so long to reply to this, but better late than never. a more recent memory has to be the day The Punk came over and helped me move things from the apartment (where I lived til recently when my roommate got physically abusive) to my parents’ house. it was so nice just listening to music and talking and listening to him laugh and sharing cigarette lighters and just. existing in a space where i didn’t feel like i had to hide who i was.
