Been thinking about what being trapped in exposed cages for a month would actually mean for tf!Pyro and tf!Maddy, and just, kind of the horror of that. Because honestly, that sounds like hell. Those two are not getting out of that experience unscathed, mentally or physically
For one, they are exposed to thr elements. Those cages won't provide any kind of proper shelter and depending on the food and water they're provided (if we take this out of it's minecraft setting), they could easily get sick from the combining factors. The rebels would probably not want that to happen just simply bc why go through the effort to capture and cage them when you'll just allow them to die, but who knows what supplies they have access to or how often they're there if they still keep the cave as their primary camp. There's also the worry about the corruption if it ends up drawing closer to them
Then there is also the consequences of the apparent loss of their mana. My guess is that because the bars are presumably crafted from iron, and as we know, iron drinks, which is why they don't have access to it. And from Pyro's previous response to that loss barely a day before, that could also have consequences to their health (assuming being surrounded by iron creates similar reactions as the corruption)
And that day by day struggle, with nowhere to go and nothing possibly changing, it would definitely wear on their minds. I can see it eventually coming down to a desperate hope that someone will come, Pyro's bond with Cindy being the only hope they have on a rescue, even as the distance wears at their bond, time probably testing that hope everyday as more time passes with no one but their captors their for company
By the end of the month, how well do you think any of their friends will be able to recognize them?
