Drew this for one of my friend's character as a jab towards him
Current project I’m working on with my friend’s character
okay so~ i find the idea of mermaids frightening for a number of reasons, the main of which is that harry potter and the goblet fire scarred an innocent dreadlum into viewing all aquatic kinds of mer as viscous monsters lurking in sunken ruins with fish like faces and horrifying shrieks. Seeing how much you love mermen is is possible to maybe draw something therapeutic to ease this ridiculous fear?
That’s not ridiculous at all! I personally like mermaids being sort of vicious monsters sometimes though? I tend to draw mild drawings of pretty merboys right now but I really love drawing glowing eyes and snarling mermaids too. Just keep in mind that I’m probably not the best person to expect cute art all the time?
I will be the type of person to draw really happy hamsters to nose bleeding boys just because I’m in the mood. I’m not really a therapist and I can’t control what I like drawing but I suggest if you’re really frightened about it you probably should be cautious about following me. I’m still drawing friendly mermen right now because that’s what I’m super into at the moment but just a warning in case I suddenly post something that isn’t what you’re into.
