a white girl on twitter posted a picture about her "dreads" so i open up her picture expecting to see some matted up hair but it's literally just her hair in some TWISTS LIKE THIS IS SO FUCKING FUNNY TO ME

Life changed fast.

My first manic episode hit me like a lightening bolt. A radiant  source of power vigorously pumped energy into me. This unruly strike awakened my soul, it gave me abundant amounts of energy and a complete lack of fear.  I loved without judgment, without inhibition, more than most could fathom. I plucked positivity from the worst of experiences and insisted upon laughing, singing, and dancing, even during the most ludicrous of hours.

Then, surely but swiftly, the energy ran out faster than it had stayed. The flash of light in my life did not meander. It hastily hurried through and robbed me of my strength, my being, without so much as a passing glance.  It left a void that plummeted to my very core. I was abandon and charred, missing all that defined my identity. I was lost.
