6/8/19.
Dream Damage (Australia) used to be one of my go-to labels. I’ve posted (or at least tagged) about The Fighting League (sold out), Cat Cat, Ace Romeo and TV Colours (sold out). Dream Damage covers a wide array of Aussie pop/punk before the Mikey Young produced set (not that there’s anything wrong with that).
So, here is Bad Lifers...really I’m hoping you’ll go back and check out the aforementioned bands. Bad Lifers is perfectly fine (and frankly the most current-Aussie sounding band of the lot) and is a solid introduction to the label. But each of the bands mentioned earlier sets a different standard - they just don’t sound like anything else. Plus, if you’re like me, I’d much rather get 5 bands at a time than one to listen to. You’re welcome.
Dream Damage seems to be reducing prices to offload what remains.
