#dream pie

I'm playing Curse of Strahd right now and I always bring snacks. Usually dips or casserole type things I can throw in my dms oven. But I'm planning to make Dream Pies. Like not really, obviously, but I'm thinking pork pot pies. I'm thinking sausage gravy will work best. I was thinking maybe I could carve a little tooth out of a piece of potato to toss on top at the last minute.

So I wanted to make cinnamon butterscotch pie but all the recipes I found actually involved cooking of some sort.

So I Frankensteined together a recipe for Cinnamon-Chocolate jello pudding and one for Dream Pie and used Butterscotch flavored jello pudding. So I give you "my" recipe for

B U T T E R S C O T C H

H O P E S A N D D R E A M S

What you need:

2 env. DREAM WHIP Whipped Topping Mix

2-3/4 cups cold milk, divided

1 tsp. vanilla

1 tsp. ground cinnamon

2 pkg. (makes 4 half cup servings each) JELL-O Butterscotch Flavor Instant Pudding

1 baked pie crust (9 inch), cooled

Directions:

1. Beat whipped topping mix, 1 cup milk and vanilla in large bowl with mixer on high speed 6 min. or until soft peaks form.

2. Mix pudding packets and cinnamon in a separate bowl

3. Add remaining milk and dry mix; beat on low speed until blended. Beat on high speed 2 min., stopping occasionally to scrape bottom and side of bowl. Spoon into crust.

4. Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm.

YES!  I think my brain knew I needed it, since all of my dreams lately have been therapy-driven (family dynamic stuff, old exes coming back to haunt me stuff--FUN STUFF).
