I've never seen it. And I don't think it's on Amazon for free anymore. :( Or I'd watch it for you. LOL
Firstly, you are so incredibly sweet for even thinking about it, so thank you.
Secondly, sadly the 2012 version is not on Amazon or Netflix anymore which is really disappointing. I don’t know how you feel about watching stuff online, but I know there are plenty of websites for that...
I am unsure how you would like the movie, to be honest, but I would be really interested in hearing your thoughts if you ever do get around to watching it!

I replied to this last night, wtf tumblr.
moonlizards and I went to dinner the other night, and afterward, we went outside to say our goodbyes, and there was this adorable little guy tied to a lamppost by his leash, waiting for his owner, who was presumably in the bar/restaurant having a drink or something, because he kept looking wistfully through the windows like, “ARE YOU COMING BACK SOON? HOW ABOUT NOW?”
The dog was scared and cowering from anyone and everyone who walked by/came near it, and it just made me REALLY FUCKING SAD and ANGRY, like, who gets a dog and then goes, “BRB BUDDY, I’M GONNA GO GET MY DRINK ON. WAIT OUTSIDE AND CONTINUE BEING COMPLETELY DEFENSELESS, THANKS.”
I clearly did not have faith that the owner was going to BRB, and I had a lot of feelings about it. After moonlizards left, I sat with the dog and petted him for a little while, but he was still scared.
It just gives me anxiety when dogs are tied up outside.

Oh, I've been wanting to try to make those, too. They look so pretty. Sometimes you need to experiment a bit with sugars and sweeteners and stuff to get the taste right. :-S
Yes, I’m definitely going to try and experiment some more because they’re pretty neat. And they weren’t that hard, either, which is nice because I’m pretty incompetent in the kitchen, haha.

What happened now?
apparently some people on tumblr were accusing the xkit guy about being a sexual predator and racist and then people started harrassing him in his ask. the accusations were baseless. and now he’s disappeared off tumblr for quite a while now.
