1. CHICAGO PALS: I'm gonna be up your way on my Burf Day. I have not booked a hotel yet for my visit on May 25th-28th. Prob gonna get something downtown, or near the airport, unless someone has something better in mind. My plans are to get the fuck out of the "A" for a lil' bit (love ya, but I need a break, like an actual break, not a covert way to tell you I'm moving away... I'm not moving away), do something extra debaucherous on my birthday (Friday, the 26th), catch a show or two, hit up some veg/vegan spots, maybe go to your Six Flags, check out one of your Death Rock nights, and see DREAMCAR (the No Doubt/AFI collab I'm so fond of) on Saturday. Speaking of which... 2. The DREAMCAR record came out last night/this morning, and it's just as brilliant as I was hoping the rest of the album to be. Listened to it twice before bed, once when I woke up doing my morning routine, and now as I type this. 5 out of 5 stars. A+. Thumbs in the upward direction, says this dude. What a perfect collaboration! 3. Looks like I am playing the Dr. Boogie show on Wednesday, May 17th, at Star Bar (Atlanta). You DO NOT want to miss this. Seriously, don't fuck this up. Be there.
