Here he catches me working on a reverse curve area of the #vincentmotorcycle custom tank. These reverse curves are problematic due to the exact amount of material needed to make it perfect. Too much or too little and you end up with a wrinkly mess. This is a small area so not so bad. Our @baileigh_industrial hammer just makes shaping like this easy with the quick release dies and infinite speed adjustment. Power when you need it...control when you don’t. When I came out of @chipfooseofficial years ago I already had many years of experience making and welding panels into cars. Funny thing is there’s usually more shaping on motorcycles due to their curvy nature and we build them from scratch a lot instead of fixing rusty crap. Someday a customer will let us completely fab a body from scratch. I feel confident now we have the right team and tools to be efficient. What to build?
