Right, I've never properly done a My Streaming Hobby post, so here's the My Streaming Hobby post:
I stream at Dreamerwave at Twitch. We get goofy silly style and I usually stream on Fridays and weekends, usually 1 or 2 days among those three, plus random weekdays when time and energy allow, as I work a full time job otherwise. My timezone is GMT-3 and GMT-4, depending on what daylight savings format we are currently, right now it's GMT-3. Fridays will usually be streams starting at 6:00 PM, while weekends can start as early as 10:00 AM but usually it's 2 or 3 PM.
We mainly play Roguelikes, Roguelites, Arknights, Soulsborne/Soulslikes, Armored Core, and the Trails Of series of RPGs (I will be adding Monster Hunter to this). I will sometimes have what chat has called "podcast moments" when I tell a story of my colorful life, talk about outrageous game dev stories (such as The Bouncer or God Hand), or just get lost in the sauce with one of my cohosts, usually people I am playing a particular game with.
Mind you, I will now and then go out of these categories to play games chat bullies me into playing. Chat has only bullied me into playing really good games like Devil May Cry 4, Metal Gear Revengeance and Transistor.
I die to fall damage. A lot. Chat calls it the Gravitax. They think they are so funny. I am not mad.
Twitch recently implemented a cap on VOD hours a channel may have, 100 Hours. You can find recent VODs on the Twitch channel proper, linked before, but the definitive Vault of VODs is the Youtube channel DreamerwaveVODs. Doctors recommend you watch my VODs at work on your boss' dime.
We have a Discord server except not really. It's more apt to call it a Notifications Server, it's a server with no chat capabilities whatsoever and it's only job is to tell you through Discord when I've gone live by @-ing you. The mood of the stream I aim for is "we are sitting on the couch in front of the TV while I play a game and we hang out". I do this for fun first and foremost, and interacting with people while playing a game is a favorite of mine, so come hang out sometime!
