Leaving tomorrow, I still try to be where I am. Not an easy exercise. I woke early this morning, then glided into some sort of half-sleep, wavering around the space between two worlds: dreaming and waking consciousness, here and there, Vienna and New York. Now, sitting at the kitchen table with my coffee, I sense this special energy pulling you forward constantly when you’ve made a plan for a long time and then getting close to realize it. At a certain point it feels like you yourself don’t really do anything anymore, you just let go, follow the flow. And it almost seems like you couldn’t possibly stop it, even if you wished to. But although I have to leave my love here this time - a pretty new love! - I don’t want to stop! I just keep going. That’s what life is about.
