Good morning āļøā¦..
Youāve made it through every moment you thought would break you⦠and youāre still here.Donāt underestimate your strength. The same person who survived those days is the one standing right nowāstronger, quieter, and still moving forward. š¤
You are a warrior, a beautiful soul with so much strength and resilience. Embrace all the blessings, moments, and memories that make you proud. And remember, it's okay to feel the losses, the hard days, and the confusion. Allow yourself to feel it all and know that both the light and the heavy moments have shaped you into the amazing person you are today. š Keep pushing forward, stay strong, and never forget to honor your journey. šŖšøš
šµ Beware, Steph ā or: The Aging Satyr on His Eternal Hunt šµ
On Friday, 28 November, a young, striking woman posted a few photos to her public Instagram after the Macbeth performance, one of them featuring her beaming beside Sam.
Sam is smiling too. Perhaps trying to rise above post-performance fatigue, he musters a polished grin and those very even, very white teeth (new veneers, perhaps?).
The photo made the rounds on several Instagram accounts, and I wouldnāt have given it a second thought if not for a post that flickered past me on Tumblr yesterday.
I wonāt link it, its origin lies on The Other Side.
But I will show you three comments. A gentle gradient of interpretive enthusiasm: from mildly snarky ā¬ļøā¬ļøā¬ļø
ā¬ļøā¬ļøā¬ļø by moderately cringeā¦
to outright dramatic ā¬ļøā¬ļøā¬ļø

I must confess: every time this sinks in, I get that unpleasant little shiver down my spine. While our side, armed with an entire litany of moral reservations about Sam, still tends to regard him as a āone-woman man,ā the Other Side⦠well.
Those ladies (and I have little doubt theyāre solidly members of the XX contingent) truly seem to imagine S. as a somewhat overripe satyr, incapable of restraining the metaphorical drool the moment he catches sight of a pair of youthful, aesthetically pleasing curves.
In their minds, his bedroom door swings open and shut for every new young woman with enough frequency to threaten coastal stability (possibly triggering tsunami).
Iāll leave it there. No need to elaborate.
You know exactly what I mean.
Isnāt this the crowning achievement of a truly disastrous PR strategy? A Shakespearean actor saddled with the reputation of a street-corner Casanova. A little tragic. Honestly, rather sad. .

And hereās the Instagram photo that caused all the fuss:

Itās never too late to start over. Even if it feels far away, little steps forward matter. You havenāt missed your chance - even if it looks different from what you once wanted. You can still find love, happiness, fulfillment, purpose.
Keep going. š«
