Hope
No matter how bright our world may be or how much light the sun may shed on this world, we can sometimes take ourselves to dark places. Places that make us think that there is no light, or that there isn’t a place that will get us out of this situation. Hope is one-hundred slaves that smiles because they will one day be free. Hope is the man who has been turned down from five jobs but still looks forward to the sixth with open arms and a smile. Hope is the light inside the darkness. Hope takes us to new heights that we believe we could have never reached. Hope is what keeps us moving even in the hardest of times. We have all had times where we believed that we couldn’t keep going. In our heads we like to tell ourselves just how much we can take, but in reality we are so much stronger than we think we are. The human spirit is something that cannot be tampered with or broken down. The human spirit is strong and limitless. We tell ourselves that we can’t move mountains and yet we do it every day without realizing it. We can only hope that life will go the way we plan it., and when it doesn’t we become discouraged. But the reality of it all is that life isn’t supposed to run exactly the way we want it to. As humans we believe that our life has to run, day after day, on the same one way train to reach our overall destination. In life we aren’t supposed to live on a planned schedule. We make plans for a future, or for a promised tomorrow, when in reality, there is never a tomorrow promised to us. We can only live life and hope that tomorrow will come and that we will eventually reach our final destination. The beauty in not knowing what tomorrow may bring is that the possibilities are bountiful and never ending. In this dark world we live in we can only hope that tomorrow will bring us more and more light until we can see clearly. We can only hope that one day our lives will be so bright that the darkness will no longer exist. It is a very dark world, and all of us have our own trials and tribulations that we have to face. We call have something that we’re looking forward to. The hope that our dreams will one day come true. But at last, tomorrow is never promised for us. You have to walk with hope every day that today might be the day that your dream becomes a reality. Hope in dark times; because that little slither of hope will grow and grow until it shines over this world. Never lose hope.
