“You Can Become A Hero: The words that needed to be heard.” - Every man, woman, and child have a destiny to fulfill, and turning their dreams into reality. When learning the heartbreaking news that he was “quirkless” (unique abilities heroes and villains are born with), Midoriya Izuku/Deku’s spirit was completely crushed as he watches replays of his hero and idol, All-Might “The Symbol of Peace”, rescuing innocent bystanders with a big smile on his face. Knowing that he no longer had the chance to become a great hero like his greatest of inspirations, left a huge lasting scar in Deku’s broken heart, and all his loving mother, who was just as heartbroken, could do was embrace her little boy and tell him how “sorry” she was, instead of lifting his broken spirit and assuring him he can still become a hero through courage, strength, and hard work alone. All-Might, the greatest of heroes and this alternate world’s version of the “Man of Steel”, Superman, had that honor. “Dreams can become a reality. You can become a hero.” and with those very words he desperately NEEDED to hear, Midoriya Izuku’s once broken spirit was remade. “Thank you!” he cried out with heavy tears running down his face, for those were the words his own mother SHOULD have told him, a choice she later regretted she never did. Because of All-Might’s acknowledgement of Deku’s heart and great potential to become a hero, he can now make his dream a reality, and follow in his hero’s footsteps in becoming a great hero himself! 🦸♂️👊🏻 Growing up as a rage-filled rebel, always fighting his own battles, being ridiculed by those who’ve doubted and looked down on me, my own parents included, yours truly never had those words said to him, or had an All-Might in his life, to be perfectly honest. Through my own courage, strength, hard work, and of course, rebellious heart, any obstacles or naysayers that stood my way were silenced!
