It took a moment to realise which way was up. Campbell knew the earth rotated, he'd picked up that much in school, but right now he was feeling it.
Gingerly, he opened one eye and thanked whoever had been smart enough to close the curtains to the- ah, he was in Poet's living room. On the floor. There was some plush rug beneath him, quite comfortable, really, it tickled on his skin.
Where was his shirt?
Both eyes flew open now as he sat up - and regretted it instantly. His head swirled, and his stomach did a flip that felt very bad.
Campbell took a few minutes to just breathe until the nausea died down, leaning back on his hands and looking up at the ceiling. He was getting too old for drinking. How much had he even had? Back popping, he slowly sat up a little straighter and tried to find his shirt. Actually, his jeans seemed to be missing, too.
Thank goodness he still had on underwear.
Painstakingly slowly, he moved to his hands and knees, on his way to being actually vertical. Poet was on the sofa nearby, a blanket covering most of him, a leg dangling off the armrest. Squeezing his eyes shut, he tried to think of how in blazes they'd ended up like this.. and had no idea. His brain had one priority, and that was a glass of water and a painkiller.
Maybe, maybe if he could keep that down, maybe some coffee later. (Don't think about coffee now, it'll make you throw up-!) Carefully, using the sofa Poet was on, Campbell groaned and pulled himself upright.
