Aban Lu Hai (the land that is given [name pending]) is the center volcanic island of a very large ring that takes up most of the eastern Authaenian seas.
It is ruled by the slowly dying race of Dri-elvaan, who are said to have descended from dragons who mated with great trees. They are known for being horned, ruthless, and having an increased magical ability. They nearly all have the ability to shift into a full dragon, though this ability is being unfortunately bred out. There are only six actual dragons left on Aban Lu Hai, one that lives in the great palace with his son, the emperor. It is unknown if the rest of the Ring has any more dragons, or if they are hiding from humans
Aban Lu Hai’s emperor controls most of the inner ring and slowly plans to expand out until he has all of the ring under his fist.
Zhaxjin, the second largest island in the inner ring, is the most populated. It claims to have it’s own government, but it is very obviously just a puppet island. The overpopulation on that island is incredibly important to the emperor of Aban Lu Hai, as it fuels it’s slave trade with the western countries, as well as the Aban Lu Haian army.
The Ociafan family was one of the biggest slaver fleets Zhaxjin had, until Bauian Ociafan decided that slaving is kinda fucked up and stole his father’s favorite boat, along with its human cargo. He set most of them free in the outer ring, but had to go further west in fear that his father and the emperor would find him out. Pirates aren’t very well dealt with in the inner ring.
