man i can’t stop thinking about how i seriously love daredevil so much, not just as a superhero but also as a person. i love how, in a world where there are literal gods flying about, this serious, level headed character still believes in God and struggles with his relationship to him and his guilt. reading the 2015 run, it was the first time a character or series had ever hooked me with everything from story to art. it was also the first time i guess, that i realized that someone like matt could be a christian too, since most depictions of christians in media are overly zealous, teenagers, or, well, jokes. it’s ‘cause of matt that i overcame my fear of christianity and instead, it became my main interest for a while. i even read the bible because some scenes in the 2019 run were so good that i cried (thinking about “i don’t think i deserve God’s love, i used him as my excuse” "you’re not special, your self loathing doesn’t make you an exception to God’s love”... feeling healed) auuuhhh i just love him sm i think he’s perfect

anyway, this image was NOT drawn by the official artist. it is supposedly a fanwork by a doujinshi creator, specifically the artist of pretty neighbour (which is a r18 yotsuba doujinshi, so uh… yeah). ralen, the person who originally translated this image, did a retranslation on a yotsuba fan forum a few months ago:
