the frogs are still elusive...
"So how disappointed are you that we have to go home tomorrow?"
"I'll admit, Sam. I'm pretty bummed. I'm just not looking forward to work."
"Yeah, me either."
Riley was much more aggressive with her passion than Sam had ever imagined. She was ready to go it seemed, but Sam wasn’t sure he was quite ready for that yet.
“Hold on, slow down. Riley--”
“What’s wrong? Am I doing something wrong?
“No, it’s not that... Just... don’t you wanna take it a little slow?”
Evening approaches.
The mood had changed and Sam could feel it. Riley seemed to disappear into her head again. He didn't say anything, instead taking the chance to pounce on her. She squealed and giggled as Sam tickled at her sides, asking again and again, "Truth or Truth?"
"S-stop, Sam! Truth, TRUTH!"
"What about you? Have you ever felt this way?"
It was dirty to ask the same question, wasn't it? But she had asked so it was only fair, he thought. Plus it seemed to be a good distraction as she looked up from her daze and started to think. She giggled a little, apparently remembering something from the past.
"It's kinda funny, actually. You know that guy who let you in my house that one time?"
"Yeah, I remember."
"Well his name is Carna. He and I have been friends since forever. And... and he was my first love."
“Take it slow? What does that even mean?”
“I just don’t want us to jump into things and maybe mess everything up.”
“I think you’re being a little too paranoid, Sam!”
“Riley, stop!”
Sam couldn’t help but laugh as Riley tossed him around the bed. She was smiling now too, so he knew she wasn’t really mad.
“Hehe, maybe you’re just nervous!”
“Nooo~~”
