Spirit Airlines is currently investigating the matter and stated that their policy includes clothing standards for all passengers.
The incident occurred on a Spirit Airlines flight from Los Angeles to New Orleans when the passengers, Teresa and Tara, said they were asked to leave the plane for wearing crop tops. They explained that they initially boarded in pants and sweaters, but changed to cooler outfits due to the temperature. The situation escalated after they questioned the flight attendant about which dress code rule they violated, leading to their removal from the flight.
