#dressing normally

Cringetober day 6 and 7! Me? forgetting to post things?? Noo, impossibleeeee... Day 8 coming soon.

Day 6: musical. There was a teeny tiny problem with this prompt called "none of the characters can perform on stage"... they handle lights and sounds while the others sing.

Day 7: anime. Waffles tried too hard to look cool for this...

Hey listen, nothing against you personally, but fuck you.  I don't know why this is such a common fucking comment on days where I'm in jeans, sneakers, and a Tshirt but seriously fuck all y'all.  I am sick of 'dressing normally' being some sort of event, and more than anything I am sick of it being said as if it is

1. News to me

2. A compliment

The way I dress is however makes me happy, and if that is so different from everyone else in your life that is their problem.  This is a little statement innocuously said by far too many people, far too many times.
