“I’ll pay you back for it then, hm?” He asked, shrugging off her joke. “I’m very down with the cool kids, and know the terms they use nowadays. Don’t be jello-less.. Right?” He said, “I don’t wish to be homeless, you’re right. But this is too big a gesture for a friend to make. I will pay you back every cent”
Rox shook her head. “No. You will not pay me back. I won’t take any money. I wanted to do this for you. Let me help you decorate the place if you want to repay me, but no money,” Rox protested. She frowned. “Jello-less? What does that even mean? What does Jello have to do anything?”

“You should get out while you can.. The fire isn’t too bad yet”
Rox coughed from the lingering smoke. “I’m not leaving unless you leave with me and we can’t do that until we get him out. “Good, I don’t like seeing you upset. It hurts. It seems wrong,” Rox admitted. That was about the closest she’d come to admitting her true feelings. She shook her head and a wave fell into her eye. “No. I got it from the realtor. I bought it.”
