I have loved Drew McIntyre from the moment he showed up in WWE the first time. I’m beyond thrilled that he’s the NXT champ now, and I damn near shed a tear when he came to the ring with the pipe & drum escort.
I also adore Adam Cole, and I’m glad he’s finally showed up in NXT. (The man came back from being murdered! He’s unstoppable!)
However... I’m not sure they thought this through... because having watched Takeover... Adam standing is not that much taller than Drew on his knees... and Adam’s about the size of Drew’s thigh. I hope they have plans to make this look convincing.
