what the fuck
what do you mean Minecraft has been really consistent with its new content volume over time if you count IRL time and not number of updates that can't be right I refuse

It is so weird that Link has two iconic swords, two iconic shields, two iconic outfits, several iconic miscellaneous tools, and ZERO iconic bows. It is more immediately recognizable to show a picture of a hookshot/clawshot (any design) than it is to show literally any of Link's bows throughout the series. The closest is the Bow of Light, but that's more associated with Zelda than Link.
such a sad paradox... autistic people are the most likely to enjoy pokemon, but cannot make eye contact, and thus can never start a pokemon battle
This was the last time in canon that we saw the Demonic Duck of Some Sort. 13 years ago. RIP Demonic Duck.
El Goonish Shive is a comic about a group of teenagers who face both real life and bizarre, supernatural situations.
If they did an augmented reality walking game like Pikmin Bloom or Pokémon GO, but for Yu-gi-Oh!, they could have the name/tagline be something like "The Heart of the Cardio", or "The Cardio of the Cards".
I get the gut reaction of "The Ancient Hero looks like a Zonai hybrid," but he really really doesn't. Zonai don't have tails or paw-feet. I have no idea WHAT the Ancient Hero was, but he wasn't a Zonai. He's something unique. Something unexplained. Hopefully he's a sequel hook?
Honestly I fully understand the "Rose is bad" take, but that's mostly because, like Steven, we learned Rose's story BACKWARDS. We START by knowing her as Rose Quartz, leader of the Crystal Gems, protector of living things, and liberator of earth, and END by knowing the horrible and selfish things she did when she was far younger as Pink.
Viewed chronologically, she STARTS as a spoiled brat who throws tantrums, damages gems, and abandons people on a whim. But then she goes to Earth. She gets to see humans, beings who aren't born with a singular purpose, who are MEANT and EXPECTED to grow and change, invent who they are. And she sees that her efforts on Earth are going to kill them all.
Then she meets Garnet, who shows her that gems don't just have to be what they were made for... gems can change, too. Through her experiences, she slowly becomes more and more of a good person. She takes the lessons of human beings and Garnet's fusion to heart, and genuinely tries to change. "Killing" Pink and permanently reforming as Rose was her symbolic way of doing just that.
I don't think she ever becomes infallible, obviously. But she isn't the monster that a lot of fans make her out to be. At least, not toward the end. She made a genuine effort to be a better person, and I think that's worth something. At least, that's my take.
