Sooo… Drew here. I’ll be talking about a few drawing tips that you might want to try.
1. When drawing somethng, you get a pencil then start
your sketch. The tool you use wouldn’t realy matter because the quality of your art depends on
your skill (but if youwant it to look professional, then the tools matter). It is better to maximize your
drawing tools as your skills get better. This first tip is actually just
about getting you to not spend your money becuase art stuff is really expensive. Pens and markers run out of ink
and you would just want to buy a new one time by time. Pencils are much more efficient for begginers because they can
just erase any mistake they make and is muhc cheeper.
You may want to use the pencils with a number and B (example is 3B) in them for
sketching and pencils with a number and H (ex. is 9H) for line arts. You may also want a better eraser. Having colored
pencils and markers would be great, you have no idea on what you can do with them, those things are awesome.
I’ll leave you with your preference, so good luck.
2.Use a blank sheet of paper (or even some blank back of a calendar or anything that is pretty much blank),the one that
is p much for printing, so your drawing would look more accurate. You don’t need any premium cold-pressed
piece of paper for your art to look good; as i’ve mentioned earlier, these are just tools (for now).
3.You have your things set, now it’s time to draw. You would want to start with a sketch. Don’t apply to much pen
pressure so your drawing won’t look sloppy and hard to erase in case you make a mistake. Do a simple light sketch.
You might wanna use templates for your anatomy later on. Just go with the flow of your sketch. Don’t hesitate to go lose
while sketching. Take your time.
4. After your sketch, you might want to outline your drawing. You don’t have to go with everything. Going
for the important details is good enough. Don’t rush this or your drawing will look sloppy. Take your time.
5. It’s better if you color it because this would make your drawing look nicer. Don’t go beyond your drawing or it will
look sloppy. Just relax and take your time.
6. You would need thick and strong outline for your drawing. Outlines may come before or after your colouring.
(I say that you should outline first).
7. In adding shadow, just decide on where you want your light and then shade the oposing side. The darker you make the
shadow, the darker your surrounding would look like. You don’t need to learn shadows yet so don’t go for it YET.
8. That is all for now! Bother me if you need anything else. I hope this helped! Drew says bye-bye for now!
EDIT: sorry for wrong spelling and grammar TwT
EDIT2017: i dunno bout that just draw i guess and be good
