Almost Like Looking In The Mirror
Continued from here @drexm-eater
It was strange being face to face with his Original like this and despite having no memories, the feelings within told the Replica they had indeed faced one another before, which meant Master Xehanort was telling the truth. In some ways, but in others? The Replica was unsure, but again, he didn’t have much of a choice - he needed to do as told. As commanded.
His original looked far different than he. Shorter hair, taller body -- he was older and that made the Replica wonder...would he age, too? Being a Replica, would he age just like any other person or was he stuck with this form? A form that, each day, reminded him of what he was, of who he was -- perhaps he would simply need to take it upon himself to change that. One day.
❝ So why are you here? ❞
His question pulled the Replica from his thoughts, his feet taking him closer to the Original. He raised his hand, forefinger pointing at the Original. “To see how strong you are, to see what makes you so special!” He opened his hand just then and turned it over, his blade suddenly appearing within his palm. His words weren’t a complete lie. He was here on Master Xehanort’s orders, to slow him down, to slow anyone he could down, but he would leave that bit of information out and instead give a different, but still honest, reason. Master Xehanort claimed Riku was powerful, and that he even resisted giving himself to the darkness completely. That only made the Replica want to challenge his Original, despite his Master’s warning not to overdo it because of how weak the Replica was compared to him.
But his words, as angry as they sounded, also held some confusion within. Riku was his enemy according to Master Xehanort, he and his friends wronged the replica when he was first created, and though that felt true to a point, there was a part of the Replica that wondered if that was the complete truth? He shook those doubts out of his mind and gripped the handle of his blade tightly, the sharp ending pointing directly at Riku. “Unless you’re afraid to fight.” He challenged with a smirk.
she lands suddenly, but that’s always been faith’s trademark. when it’s this abrupt it’s to make an entrance, to visibly startle someone. in this case, it’s riku and while she might feel a bit bad about it, it’s momentary. leaving as quickly as it came. eyes search over the horizon, he looks like he’s plotting but she can’t figure out what. ❛ you got a run you need help with? ❜ // @drexm-eater: sc.
@drexm-eater can’t make me admit defeat !
‘ admit defeat ?? not in a million years . --- not unless you can MAKE ME . ‘
continued from this
Nobody important. Why did that seem like such a LIE. It wasn’t some bashful statement. Hajime had seen him, snooping about, watching and seldom acting. That wasn’t anyone unimportant. He seemed like the kind of person to have a role and ABANDON it, far more content with merely staying by the sidelines, and maybe that was okay. But the volleyball player was having none of it. His arm was still in strapping from the time he’d ‘fallen’ down the stairs after practice, his face still holding a bandage from the cut that just wouldn’t go away. The time just so happened to line up with the day he told Kamoshida exactly what he thought of him and how he wanted OUT of this ridiculous game. Yet he still tried to seem powerful, together. He’d pulled the other aside after class, holding onto his collar until the frustration took over and he shoved him into the wall, releasing and taking several steps back. “You just WATCHED. You didn’t help them.. I.. I don’t know who did but.. you knew.” It didn’t matter who, he just needed to take his frustration out on someone. He’d been too weak to speak up sooner, to do something, to save the other’s from the abuse. Taking in a breath he tries to steady himself, calm his nerves, but his body still shakes. “I saw you. I saw you in the castle. So lets try this again.. who are you really? And don’t give me any bullshit.”
Descent into Darkness || Drexm-eater
@drexm-eater
"You won't find her, you know." A familiar voice rang out through the darkness. Riku's voice, but not quite. There was something there, in the Darkness with him, though what it was would remain a mystery until he managed to figure it out.
What oh what could it be?
He wasn't strong enough yet, to leave Riku's heart. But in this place? Riku already carried the Darkness within him, and the Realm of Darkness would only deepen the spiral into everlasting Darkness. That was just how this place worked.
Memories of Sora, of the Light, wouldn't fuel him for long. Especially not with his help.
"Keep on running! You can't escape the Darkness within."

Hands fidget by his sides as the duo wait silently in the foyer. He’d wanted to go with the welcoming party but with the absolute swarm of onlookers and paparazzi, it was decided that it’s in Sora’s best interest to stay indoors. He’s spoken to Kairi before, more so since the announcement of their engagement; he knows her, he likes her.
Only his heart won’t stop thudding and his hands won’t stop shaking.
It’s one thing to trade pleasantries and conversation as acquaintances. It’s an entirely different realm to meet each other as betrothed for the first time.
He itches to reach out and take Riku’s hand but they’re not alone. Others have their eyes trained on him, servants ready to wait on the new Princess. He and Riku had parted amicably from their relationship — they’d known it couldn’t last — but Sora still craves the grounding comfort the other provides. It must seem odd to have him present but Riku’s always been good at things like this; Sora tends to just babble until his voice runs out.
The grand doors open and a small procession enters. Sora recognises a few faces and the rest he assumes are guests of the Princess. Kairi herself is clad in elegant yet comfortable clothing, fitting for travelling half way across the world for this occasion. His heart calms as he sees her. Nerves still thrum but he tells himself that this is just Kairi. He can do this.
@drexm-eater liked for a starter.
“Soooo can I come with ye this time?” Merida was sick of being left behind. It seemed like whenever Riku got to do something excited all she got to do was listen to the adventure story afterwards. It was really anti-climatic for someone who got intoxicated on adventure like Merida did.
