Hi me. Let's flesh out Dreyalline.

Yes, I’m this lame, rofl. Anyway, I felt like doing this for the main baddie in Tales of Mysdrym, the mysterious and total asshole daem, Dreyalline.

Btw, a daem is an ancient spirit from a corrupted world who was given a second chance and physical form by the Goddess of Chaos. They are known for their magickal prowess and clawed hands. 

What position does your character sleep in? ( i.e; stomach, side, back, etc. ) Describe why they do this — optional. She doesn’t.

Does your character have any noteworthy features? Freckles? Dimples? A scar somewhere unusual? etc. None that are visible. She is always seen wearing a heavy black cloak, has a ridiculously pale complexion and long, black eyes, and black hair that falls from under her hood. 

Does your character have an accent? What does it sound like? She does have an accent, and it sounds a little Gaelic. 

Do they have any verbal tics? Do they have trouble pronouncing certain words or getting their thoughts across clearly? She can be a cryptic asshole, but aside from that, not really. She’s pretty straight forward when dealing with her minions. 

What are their chief tension areas? She’s a physical manifestation of space, so she doesn’t really have any, but if she could get tension in her, it’d be her hands, because she flexes her claws too often.

If you were to pick one song — and only one song — to describe your character, what would it be and why? O’Fortuna by Carl Orff

How does your character perceive themselves? Positive? Negative? Neutral? She believes she is right about everything, and views herself with pity. None of this is her fault.

Are they a quick thinker or do they need time to sort through their thoughts? Unfortunately, she is a very quick thinker.

Does your character dream or are their nights filled with an empty blackness? Describe a dream they’ve had or a night they couldn’t sleep and what they did to preoccupy their time. Can’t dream because she literally doesn’t sleep. She spends her nights like most days, plotting the demise of her enemies.

If they had a choice, would they prefer a subway or a bus for public transportation? Subway, and she’d take up a whole row of seats, and not a soul would fucking ask her to move, either. Well, they might ask once. Only once.

What do they think of creation? Do they believe in evolution or do they believe in God? What is their religion like? She believes in the Gods and the creation stories she’s heard. She’s rather bitter towards the Gods of Order. What is evolution?

Describe 5 unusual characteristics your character has. She has no concept of time, she’s always got a song stuck in her head, she has the ability to justify anything and everything she does (to herself), she can go insanely long without blinking, and she is great at sneaking up on people.  

Have they ever been so overwhelmed they had to stop and take a break from something? She’s gone fishing a couple times. 

Are they a team player or do they prefer to be solo? Team player, so long as they do exactly what she tells them to do.

Can they multi-task or must they focus on one subject at a time? Multitask.

What are their best school subjects? What are their worst? List five of each. She never went to school – entities of space don’t tend to – but she’d be good at Math, Statistics, Physics, History, and Language. She’d suck at Art, Chemistry, Biology, Computer courses (she’d get annoyed and stab the computer), and Criminal Justice courses.

Is your character an introvert or an extrovert? How do they handle big crowds of people? She’s an extrovert. With crowds, she either kills them or kicks back and enjoys while they worship her as a god.

Are they a leader, do they prefer to follow, or would they rather just stay on the sidelines altogether? Definitely a leader.

If your character was suddenly challenged, would they rather run away or stay and fight? If challenged, she will claw a bitch. She also occasionally does this without being challenged. 

If your character was allowed to murder one person without any consequences, who would that person be and why? She really doesn’t care about consequences, but…probably Aerra, the Goddess of the Ethereal. 

Your character has been granted 3 wishes; what would they wish for and why? For Order to wake up, for Order to love her, and for all her enemies to die horribly.

Does your character trust people right off the bat or does it take them some time to warm up to someone? Fuck no.

Do they prefer romance or affection? What is the quickest way to your character’s heart? She’s a fan of affection, and the quickest way to her heart is to revere her as a god, unless she views you as an equal, then she just wants to hang out and do cool things. Hint: she won’t see you as an equal.

Does your character have any enemies? If so, who and why? Most of Order. And the other-worlders. She’s kinda trying to destroy them.

Do they have any weird bedroom habits? Any unusual kinks? Not really. She has a really bad god complex and doesn’t view anyone on par with her, and she won’t bang anyone who’s ‘lesser’. 

How does your character prepare for bed? Do they sleep at all or can they stay awake for days on end without trouble? She never sleeps, so no preparation needed.

If your character had one thing to say to their parents before they died, what would it be? She wouldn’t say a damned thing.

Are they afraid of death? Do they have any regrets? Terrified of it, but does not think of it often. She regrets nothing.

Does your character get restless when things are too quiet or do they favour solitude and silence? Why? She hates being alone. Everything she does is so that she won’t have to be alone.

Finally; if your character was forced to eat one thing for the rest of their life, what would they choose and why? Blueberries are pretty neat.
