Ty Lee suddenly perked up from her spot resting her head on Suki’s lap. “They’re right, Iroh does only have one nephew! Zuko!”
Sokka swears to this day that he could physically feel his stomach sink like an anchor. “What?”
“Mm-hm!” she responded, sitting up eagerly. “He’s an old friend of mine!”
“But—but that doesn’t make any sense,” Sokka argued, his voice equal parts desperate and confused. “His nametag—”
MY COMMENTS
Sokka, Sokka, Sokka, please—
But seriously, this fic is just a wild ride from beginning to end; the way Sokka doesn’t know who Zuko is and how Zuko expects Sokka to know absolutely sent me. Everything about this fic is just humourous and yet there are times when everything is just straight up angsty before the fic is sent reeling into a sequence of hurt and comfort so all is well.
