A Little Gratitude || Harvey & Manna

The trouble with buses, Manna was beginning to learn, was that their schedule was severely limiting. She had just enough time after her morning shift to take one home and spontaneously invent a ritual to make her oven respond long enough to bake hazelnut cookies - but, finally, they were done, and they had just enough time to be put into a cute container before she took a bus right back to Baycourt.
Unfortunate, really, that a look at her watch as she took the elevator told her that the office had closed twelve minutes ago. But maybe there was a chance to catch the door unlocked anyway? She so very much wanted to-
The elevator opened, and the doctor of the hour stood there. “Oh! Doctor Harrison! Just the man I wanted to see!” She beamed at him, making no move to actually exit the elevator. “How are you? Heading home for the day?” A pause. “Wait, do you remember me? It must be alarming, having a woman you’ve only treated once remember who you are when she’s just a face in the crowd~” She chuckled - and then the elevator door began to shut, and she caught it again with a squeak. “Sorry! Come in!”
