I writhe beneath the soft surface of my false skin, because I must be held and bound into a shape that functions amongst a backdrop of sameshapes.

It tires me and I am covered in ache. To lift an exo-limb is to climb a mountain. To move is to acknowledge I am constricted too tightly, painful pink sealing something Else.

My carefully crafted vessel is so tenderly kept by me, and bursting from it would pain my heart- so I may never leave.

A precious prison that wants for warmth and comfort, which is held dear to me, for I will provide it all it needs.

It holds me, thus, I will hold it.
