How long has it been? Naeun wasn’t too sure, probably five months. Three weeks, who cares. She obviously did. Hence is why she’s been hanging around her room, isolation in progress and suddenly she just felt so alone. An empty piece of her life was taken away and she was left with countless memories in her head, upon the photos. She could go on with the list, the frustration as well. She hates it all. Hate isn’t even a strong word, it barely expresses how much she’s been feeling deep inside. Bottling up emotions, they’re going to flow out in the uglier way.
When her eyes come to a close she sees red. If her eyes fell upon her bare palms she sees crimson. The thoughts of death and gore was pondering in her mind through out these months. There’s no way to escape it, she’s a monster now isn’t she? She killed those who have taken her friend away, a way to show revenge in the best way possible. She couldn’t help herself, anger — it took a hold of the female.
Naeun wasn’t to blame for this, she felt the need to do so. It was difficult for her to let the situation come to a close entirely. They rushed off into their vehicles, took a hold of Sunny’s life; letting the woman hit another’s car and took off thinking that they would get away with it but they never did. Because she took weeks to combined the pieces to collide together and she ended up with a location, a date and herself in it as well.
So she’s in the room still, sitting here in silence for what seems like the entire day but it’s only been two hours. The phone was tucked away inside of her hand, a sigh falls pass her lips, she’s tired. Tired of thinking about it and wishing about the older woman coming back because it’ll never happen. Her fingers grazed upon the number of the other’s woman. Never calling the old number until now. It dialed, ringing continuously into her ears and she lets out a shaky sigh. Because she wasn’t used to this. It leads to voicemail and the beep rings into her ears.
"Hello.." Pausing, she places a hand upon her own chest, petite fingers clutching onto her chest, rigid breathing and her eyes fluttering close to prevent herself from falling apart.
"Sunny.. I’m so sorry." She apologizing, it wasn’t her fault but she felt like it was— because she’s gone what else was she supposed to say. "I miss you." Frustration, the sorrow was taking over her and it’s impossible to count the numerous thoughts she’s been having of the older woman.
Suddenly, it comes to a close. It hangs up on its own and she’s still speaking.
"Why.. aren’t you here anymore? I’ll see you later." This isn’t a goodbye, never will it be.
