I have no idea if 'tutorials' are really your thing, but do you have any advice for an artist who's just taking the plunge into trying to learn anatomy/form? It's something that consistently blows me away in every new piece you post, lol
In terms of form and making things look "3D", that came from just practice. Just attempting to draw things in that way, and failing over and over, drawing and redrawing in frustration until I started to understand.
As of the past 4 years, however, most of my growth came from studies. Basically check this post.
Short answer: I have a daily regimen where I draw no more than 3 - 5, 90 second figure studies using sites like line of action or quickposes as a warmup, and then I try to draw a human face from a reference in 10 minutes or less. Then I take the original reference picture and overlay it over my drawing to see what I got right and wrong. This helps build up hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and your ability to measure various features.
You can see examples in the linked post. Commit to doing this "at least once before sleeping", and you'll learn solid fundamentals that'll reinforce everything else you do.
Overall your goal is to expose yourself to a challenge, however small. You just want your habits to become more clear and obvious to you, so you can have an easier time assessing how you draw and what can be changed to improve things the way you want.
