We’ve been married for 25 years (holy shit how did that that happen???). We asked for 25 year old scotch. No such luck, but we did get 24 year old bourbon. From a shelf someone had to climb to. It was $50 a shot so we spilt it. I have a checkered past with whiskey so I was ready to suck it up. But.....OH. MY. GOD. DELICIOUS. Carmel deliciousness like I’ve never tasted. It was sooooo completely worth every penny. And for a person with no reliable income l, that says a lot. But seriously. Carpe fucking diem. Drink the good bourbon on your anniversary. You won’t regret it. I promise.

Besides, this particular batch was for a certain stuck-up Kaiba. Wouldn’t be hilarious to see that rich pretty boy all flustered and embarrassed cause suddenly he feels looooove? Joey laughs internally, it’d be funny to see Marik that way too. Maybe Joey could bring out his alias as a pet name and stuff… What was it again Nomu? Namu? Too bad a potion only lasted a day. 

Joey turns, stirring the red-liquid within pot one last time before turning to wash the utensils. A cutting board… some silverware… nothing too extreme. However… did he actually pay attention to what Marik was doing? No. He’s Joey. His attention span is like that of a golden retriever chasing a frisbee one moment and then going for a squirrel the next.
