Adrian cracked his neck. "I see some new faces have appeared during my absence. I'm sorry to keep you waiting. What can I do for you?"

Todd saw the little black cat outside the shop and decided to bring him in before Mrs.Lovett could get a hold of it and make it into a pie. Mr. Todd was quite fond of cats and used to have one as a boy. He knelt down to it with a can of sardines. "Hello my little feline friend..."
Ordinarily, Binx tried to steer clear of people who tried to lure him into buildings. One too many close encounters at animal shelters had taught him well. But he hadn’t eaten in a while and the sardines smelled delicious. Besides, what harm could a barber do, really? With a timid sort of meow, Binx padded forward to sniff at the sardines.

Sweeney Todd & Sally | @drippingredrubies
Sally sat on a bench in Halloweentown's square one late afternoon, enjoying watching the ghouls and spooks and listening to the screams shatter the air.
A low fog clung to the ground as the day succumbed to night. Sally began to yawn, so she got up and was about to head back home when an unfamiliar figure stepped out of the fog.
"Hello?" She called.
A Visit to London (Sweeney & Jareth)
Jareth loved visiting the grime of London in the winter, when it was the most tolerable and not as foul smelling. He enjoyed seeing the people withering in the streets, freezing to their demise in the cold weather. It was all very amusing, how weak and powerless they all seemed to be. On this particular night, Jareth was on a certain street labeled Fleet Street when he came across a Meat Pie Emporium. The winter wind was harsh and he was quite hungry. Jareth loved observing the pitiful humans at the pubs, plus they made great meals. So he thought he might stop and get a meat pie. Jareth never had heard of a meat pie, but thought he should give it a chance.
Jareth approached the door and pushed it open, to find the place completely void of people. It seemed as if it had closed down for the day so Jareth turned back and left the store. As he was about to make his way back to his kingdom, he heard some voices from above...
Jareth's eyes caught on the staircase trailing to a flat above the shop. He paced silently to them and climbed them cautiously. Another creaky door met him and he opened it to be met by a jingle of a bell.
