Driselle will often stop mid-task to go pet a cat, dog, chocobo, or whatever other fuzzy creature is within the vicinity. If the owner is present, she always asks first, but most people are afraid to say no because she completely stops blinking when animals are involved.

Her father, because he expects absolutely nothing from her and has never once gotten in her business. They're both pretty weird socially, too, so they have some common ground.

Driselle has no idea how to discipline or parent in the slightest, so chances are that she'd try to tape them to a chair or something until they calmed down. Not out of malice, just due to being at a complete loss.

Driselle would absolutely find someone more qualified. She has no idea what to do with children and would probably just cause accidental psychological damage.

Driselle is an only child and, at some point, probably did wish she had a sibling just so her parents and grandparents would stop hovering over her. Then she met her cousin Adeline and decided that being an only child was probably fine.

Oh hell no. Driselle has zero maternal instinct and if her father's approach to parenting is anything to go by, she'd probably accidentally lose the kid in some tall grass and never find them again.

It wasn't really something Driselle ever thought about until she started to get in trouble at school in her early teens, and then absolutely flunked the entrance exams to get into the Studium. That was the one thing she assumed was expected of her, as her parents never really pushed her to do anything but occasionally remarked how it'd be nice if she were accepted and got a higher education.

It was at that point, around age eighteen, that she decided to get her ass smuggled out of Old Sharlayan by a gleaner acquaintance to a recently post-Calamity Eorzea to make something of herself, since she'd messed up at the one thing she thought she was supposed to do.

She feels like a bit of a fuck-up of a daughter, really. Even now.
