‘Mob Wives’ Co-Stars React to Big Ang’s Death
Mob Wives star Angela “Big Ang” Raiola died early Thursday morning at the age of 55 after a lengthy battle with throat, brain, and lung cancer. Ang’s friend Vinnie Medugo announced the news on the star’s official Twitter account, writing that she passed just after 3 a.m. in New York.
Her castmates have since taken to social media to pay their respects. “I will see you again one day my friend… I will miss every minute of you until then,” Drita Davanzo wrote on Instagram. “You woke up every day and fought with amazing courage and dignity and looked beautiful doing it,” Karen Gravano captioned a collage of pics of her with the star. “We will always love you,” shared Renee Graziano.
Raiola was a fan favorite on the reality show, often playing the peacemaker and making us laugh with her wild sense of humor. The Brooklyn native also had a giving heart, helping to bring food and supplies to people in Staten Island after Hurricane Sandy and raising money for the family of a Staten Island boy who died after having an allergic reaction on Halloween. Ang is survived by her son, her daughter, and her six grandchildren.
I don’t believe anything that Marissa says. I don’t think Drita snubbed her like that, I really don’t think she would do that to O.Z.’s girlfriend I don't know.
