Final Question: How would you very poorly describe them & their stories to a friend who knew nothing about Elden Ring?

I have had to explain this ship to my fiancee who doesn't play Elden Ring lol. I describe them as a love triangle between a pretty boy, a stoic guy with a secret twin and a manipulative woman who wants to make everyone a zombie. Both of the guys end up as zombies in the end.

I know day 3 of DRogier week has past but I'll share my personal food headcannons for the two lads;

Darian: Knows how to cook. It's important for a knight to keep his energy up. But he does the bare minimum since it's all about survival, not luxury. It's still decent and edible tho and if given the right resources, I could see him enjoy baking.

Rogier: Look, we all know I love that man. We also know he loves to study and read as much as possible. He's great with history and magic. But cooking? It's the one thing he can't do right. He's a terrible cook, so once he starts traveling with D, it's a BLESSING having the knight make a meal after a long day.

day 1: first love

i like to think rogier loved hearing darian recite passages from the golden order principia to him, and getting into debates about GO theorems. knowing that darian, a GO fundamentalist - and as it's said, fundamentalism is scholarship in all but name - thus is seeking answers just like him, and so is understanding, is patient, is willing to divulge answers and feed rogier with knowledge he insatiably craves, is what really deepened their bond.
