The first prompt was first love so here’s kicking the week off!!!

Reminder: this is Trump's America right now. This is a very anti-DEI, anti-queer moment in our nation's history. Lots of groups and companies who used to do surface-level Pride pandering are going to be quiet this year - even if they don't throw themselves fully behind the hate, for optics reasons - because the current administration is making supporting diversity less profitable and more ~political~. So groups and companies who look at the current state of things in the US and say "fuck you, we're supporting the queer community anyway"? Who are going out of their way to stand with us even when it seems more people are standing against us than ever? That means something. That's worth noting.

This year, even more than other years, the Seattle Mariners didn't have to do this. The Seattle Mariners wanted to do this.

WHATS UP STANXENO NATION! My best friend and I built Stan and Xeno cosplays for the UK ICL Qualifier, and did a stage performance about the Voyager Golden records with ballroom dancing!!!

We had a two month turnaround for it, which was so difficult for high quality competition builds, but we thought we had such a fun idea for the stage that we just had to do it! We made everything from scratch, with period accurate and narratively consistent materials and techniques (natural dyes for the tie!!) bar the boots which were modified bc we are not cobblers and shoes have to be well made for dancing 😂

The duo category for the competition had to be cancelled in the end because every other team had to pull out in the run up- the last team pulled out on the day though, so we were already there and ready & decided to just perform anyway :') It was a real bummer but the audience were amazing 😂

We wanted to share the video in here anyway, but given the circumstances it feels even more important to just make sure our fun performance (at least we think it's fun 😂) is at least seen by other Dr Stone fans 😂😂😂
