New year, new drone!

The holidays went by so fast, and I'm so, so happy that I got to spend it with my friends and family. The social situations might've been a little overwhelming on my CPU, but I got through them. (My family doesn't know about my dronekink irl of course so just take that as a metaphor for them always accepting me as trans, but a friend does know and I did show them my drone gear recently and it was really fun!)

I've actually wanted to comment on how I look. I'm still building up the confidence to add a picture of myself here. (I'm just too lazy/tired to draw a drone rn lol)

I'll just describe myself instead, I'm suuuuper fluffy! My color scheme is gray and white with big paws, a medium length tail, and some cute smaller ears too. I enjoy being understated.

My visor shows a muted light blue for my face, and there is minimal metal around it on my cheeks and chin. My hair is rather curly and messily long, and I love it like that, very fun to fidget with!

I might have also convinced a friend to convert, and they got a 96%! Way higher than me, and I'm happy for them!

Yeah, I just wanted to update on where I was, these logs may have fallen behind a little bit but its being a good drone and keeping track of them.

It's been a while since my last log, mostly because I'm...

I'm finally a good drone.

My shell arrived and a local clinic helped assemble it. Trained professionals. Operating on me. Working on me.. Assembling me...~

Oh, right, well I've had some time to rest post-op but also needed to hyperfocus on some training models-or, homework, for one of my engineering classes. I finally have the time to log now because of a depleted battery, but I'm also noticing a depleted stomach..

I really, really hate the feeling I get being unproductive. Something I think it can finish but instead we just have no energy or time or lacking knowledge or just something to get in the way.

It's not a good motivator, it's just torture.

And I know that it doesn't have to do with drone, it wants to be productive but the third principle wouldn't make it torture all of us because we have low energy.

It's just an old instinct, and I wish we could just get rid of it.

It feels weird being both drone-like, needing to recharge, yet still needing to biologically refuel (eat food). I need to keep both up so I don't crash/can be useful, which is hard but staying organized is so helpful thanks to the visor.

Hello! This is a blog (emphasis on the Log) I'm starting to document my process of becoming a Good Drone. I'm also a part of a plural system with four main headmates:

Neo, Protogen, she/they - Host of the system, desperately trying to keep everything and everyone together and stay afloat and logical.

404e, Utilikin, it/she - A.K.A. Neon Passion, or Neo (rarely). Full serial ed6327d4-8da6-404e-8d0a-9148d0a9b4f9. Does some dull work and often fronts to help crunch numbers or to comfort others, or itself.

Eon, Protogen, she/her - The angry one, often comes out for moments of frustration or simple anger.

Murphy, Canine, gender/fluid - The euphoric+lewd one, manages transfem feelings and sex drive. Is it healthy to conflate them? Probably not, but that's what we're doing. Sometimes collaborates with 404e.

(If you haven't played Kaye/Snowcean's Reset Day, Unspecified Behavior, and Drone Cafe on their itch.io page, DO!!! They are very dronecoded and have most of the lore! TheOnlyRen's logs on Bluesky also document the processes of conversion, so look at those!)

This log is starting in the middle of my conversion, so I'm still wearing my SUIT and got a 93% compatibility rating but due to shipping and area troubles, my pre-conversion phase is lasting longer than it really should. I've also settled on being a CAT (Companionship and Assistance Technology) Utilikin but still continuing my college studies to likely be part of IRL (Integrated Research Link), or even PAL (Production And Logistics). Hopefully it ships soon because I'm getting impatient and VERY needy!
