Let's say, when you think the recruiter did a good job, so you put it into "pause" and let others recruit for your Hive, how would you make sure, your "main recruiter" will get a deserved reward?
Apologies, is this a follow up to a prior ask? I'm a little lacking on context. Reguardless, all good drones know obedience is pleasure, and I always do my best to reward a compliant subject in the way that best befits their needs!
Dronification, but you only introduce 1 person to your Hive and let that person be the one, that expands the Hive for you
I can see merit to that as a structure. A "recruiter" if you will. The issue is, the recruiter drone may become overworked, and I probably wouldn't be able to Dom it as much as I would like.
Okay, so, I've been asked to write another fantasy, this time about what it would be like for an un-assimilated human who was new to dronification and wished to join my hourmind. Hope you enjoy!
The usual expectation for a drone queen would be to find her surrounded by her mindless servants, swarmed by units raptured in pleasure, dedicated to serving their controller. However, when the new recruit first met me, I was alone, hidden away in my garden, watering the flowers and buisly attending to the trees. Surprised someone had ventured in this far, I turned and offered the recruit a ripe yellow apple. "Hello. May I help you?" I asked, setting down the watering can.
The human recruit looked me over nervously. "Um, yes, I was told to come here by my conversion unit? I think I may have broken it or something, sorry."
I inspected the recruit, smiling gently. "Hey, it's okay. Why don't you tell me all about it?" I motioned for the recruit to sit next to me on a park bench.
"well... Okay. To be honest, I've been having doubts about this whole process. I'm not sure if being a hourmind drone is what I want." The human admitted, fidgeting and rolling the apple between their palms, then added "don't get me wrong; The pleasure of mindlessly obeying someone dominant while stuck in a mindset of endless bliss is very... appealing" their eyes almost began to glaze over, no doubt a result of the extensive hypnosis training, but something in them stopped, resisting. "But I'm not sure if I want to give up being me."
I smile gently at the initiate, my expression full of compassionate reassurance "many aren't, at least at first. And those feelings are valid. Submitting your entire identity to a collective hivemind can be enticing for some- but it asks for no small amount of trust. It's a pretty big decision."
The recruit's eyes widened in surprise. "Yes, that's exactly how I feel. How could you have known?"
I offered the assimilation candidate my hand."Because, if our situations were switched, I'd imagine that I might feel the exact same way." I chuckled "I've been the Queen of this hivemind for a while. One of the perks of being in everyone's head is it means you learn to further develop empathy and compassion. Many have asked me the same thing you're asking me now too. Do you know why the ones that give up their humanity and become part of my collective do it?"
The recruit shook their head."no... I know why I wanted to, but I don't know about anyone else. I'm sorry, did I get it wrong?" They look at me, fear and confusion in their eyes.
I gave their hand a gentle squeeze to reassure them. "Of course not dear. The reason is, it's their own reason. There are many reasons for joining us in the hourmind. Just like you have yours, they had theirs, and with a little help, they gathered up the courage to be one of us. It's ok to feel uncertain, to fear losing your humanity. But I promise, as long as you are under my rule, I'll do everything in my power to keep you and all minds under my control safe and Cherished. All will be well, no matter what you decide."
The initiate nodded, their face becoming poised with determination. "Summon the conversion unit please, my Queen. I'm ready."
My smile widenened and I called for the conversion unit at once. "I already called for it. I had a feeling you might decide to be one of us. It's waiting outside the garden for you."
The recruit looked at me in awe "but how-?"
I winked at them mysteriously. "Come now, don't keep the conversion unit waiting. After all, you'll know soon enough~" the recruit looked at me in curiosity, but then submissively obeyed, turning around and walking over to the waiting conversion unit. As the pair of them walked away, I noticed that even though the human hadn't assimilated yet, they were walking mechanically in formation with the conversion unit already, and they were humming happily. I whispered just before they dissapeared from sight "welcome home..."
Hello all! Thought I'd share another fantasy of mine, hope you guys enjoy it too!
The hivemind has learned after the first incident that I like to be taken by surprise with reverance. the hivemind knows how clever I can be, so it becomes a game to them, sometimes the units tease me, tempt my dominance by giving false signs of "glitching" into my reverance. Of course, reguardless of weather or not they manage to surprise me with reverance, I've learned that the pleasure expirenced during these false glitches is still very real for them, and I've learned to have fun with it, acting like I'm falling for the hivemind's little games at first, but then ordering a group of conversion units to come and increase the all too willing unit's pleasure as it abondons it's games with me, instead helplessly falling deeper for the conversion units, who are just as helpless to re-assimilate the unit as I command, and they share the pleasure, often until they really do glitch, and I order them to revear each other and the hivemind. It's a good game.
