What is Demo Day?
Demo Day is an opportunity for tech startups to present their app in front of a room full of tech investors and entrepreneurs. Demo Day is the climactic event of our accelerator program, DreamIt Ventures NYC. All of this summer’s hard work will be showcased in a seven minute presentation. We’re going to present, and after the presentation, we will meet with investors and hear what they have to say.
As a young tech startup, Demo Day is vital to our success. If Acorn does not receive the necessary funds, our team won’t have money for food, water, or even love. If we do get the right investments, we can move faster to develop our Android platform and package our technology so that other apps and companies can use it.
As of now, we’re working our tails off to prepare. We’re debugging out app to run smoother and adding more features as we speak. We’ve got a fancy new sign and beautiful one-pagers of the company to give out and we’re also tweaking our presentation slideshow.
