We’ve been waking up earlier and earlier every day this week to get a little work done before the kiddos wake up, me at home and PJ at the new flip house. In just 3 weeks, and all by himself, he’s been working nonstop renovating the front of this house and now it’s unrecognizable from when he started (thank goodness). He ripped off (again, by himself) the front foyer addition from the 70’s to bring the house back to what it might have originally looked like when it was built in the 1930’s. YUP. This cute little cottage is almost 100 and PJ is slowly adding all the charm and character to bring this baby back to its former glory, but much, much cuter ❤️. The kiddos and I walk over to see all the progress he’s made every other day and it’s wild to me how much he accomplishes (again, BY HIMSELF 😂) in just a few days. So excited to see this thing finished! Had some fun today. Spent the afternoon helping in the Carpentry Shop at the St. Charles Missouri First Capitol for their 250 year anniversary celebration. Our turning club built the treadle lathe (I was not part of that, schedule conflict) but had time to come out and demo on it today. First go with analog lathes. Lol. Lots of fun but my legs are tired. Overhauled version of the old demo

I released a new demo of my game after several months. 

I reworked lots of stuff but overall the game concept is still the same. The demo is really short and simple (mostly because I put it together in a rush to meet the deadline of Demo Day) but I hope you will try it out and enjoy it even just a little bit!

I won’t go over the list of things that have changed since the last demo since I already mentioned them several times in previous posts while I was still working on said things, but you can look at my blog to see what I’m talking about.

Anyway, I hope you like it. If you have any feedback don’t hesitate to let me know in any way you want. Comments and reblogs are very welcome! I want to get as many people to see and play this demo to gather feedback. This will in part affect how the game will evolve.

The floor-to-ceiling renovation of Reclaimed Wood Goods’ International HQ continues at a slower-than-glacial pace. The project recently entered my least favorite phase: removing ancient kitchen tiles that were originally installed by a couple of prehistoric handymen named Fred and Barney.
