How to maximise the effects of Bio-Oil to help reduce scarring

The average person is said to have three scars on their body – who knew? But no matter how common scarring is, it can still knock your confidence. Whether your scar came from surgery, acne or stretch marks, each has a story behind it.

Scars usually fade in colour over time, and even though there’s no treatment to make them disappear completely, it’s still possible to help improve their appearance and your confidence.

1.       Massage Bio-Oil into the scar daily to keep it hydrated, and soften the scar tissue

2.       Wear a sunscreen as sun exposure on new scars can cause unwanted pigmentation

3.       Bio-Oil is clinically proven* to improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks and uneven skin tone. Massage two drops into your scar twice a day to help reduce its appearance.

A few years ago I had shingles and several nasty marks were on my face. They were above my eyebrow, on my eyelid and beside my nose. I rubbed Bio-Oil into them every day and now you wouldn't know they had been there. When I have a suntan I can see a small white patch beside my nose but it isn't noticed by anyone else.
