I've been always open about how I DO love the Eternal fukus even if they are samey, but it DID always sorta bother me that Usagi never had a star brooch to match the rest as well. And that ended up in these two lol, EXTREMELY small Eternal redesigns, both anime and manga versions. (anime is a coloring book page, manga is a heavy edit of this Takeuchi piece from the early 2000's, scanned by setteidreams)

The tiara actually IS present in the original Takeuchi piece, it's from the era she just drew the girls, accurate small details be damned lmao. Skirt colors were reversed and the yellow was swapped with pink to match the shoulders.

I've been randomly doing some coloring pages when I want to do something creative but don't want to draw (source is @/silvermoon424's massive compiling), and that resulted in these!

first row is Totally Normal Moon, aka what if Usagi's fuku was more in line with the others (by which I mean her collar and skirt matched her glove trim, choker and boots), and then made the blue her bow color. Much cuter than first thought of, even if her Eternal skirt gave me trouble lol

second row is the same two pieces for Super and Eternal, but with a color change similar to how Marinamoon's Super fuku in her musical run has the skirt go from white into PINK into blue instead of white into yellow/gold into blue. it actually makes Eternal less of a drastic jump and it's just as cute!

an attempt to make Stella's theoretical reboot look less boring via tracing that promo image. This is also hideous but it's Stella-brand hideous instead of whatever basic-ass thing she was wearing lmao

I’ve always liked the concept of envisioning the Trix as fairies and the Winx as witches but I never did my own. A couple weeks ago I did a quick mindless doodle of that idea (last image), but I wanted to bring it to the canon style just because I was lazy to do my own style lmao. (base made by Feeleam on dA, with some modifications) 

There wouldn’t be much changes to how they use their powers, outside Stella still using her Sceptre to aid in her spells and to fly in it broomstick-style lmao. Titles are the same as in canon bar 3 (Stella’s now the Witch of the Scorching Sun instead of the Shining Sun, still light but more focused on hurting, Tecna’s the Witch of Hacking because it sounds cool lmao, and Musa’s the Witch of Noise just because music is more structured)

rereading some PGSM liveblogs put in my head the idea of Hina and Mio in the og anime styles. I fucking suck at mimicking the old anime styles tho, so I decided to just do drawovers on screencaps instead lol. Hina first, then Mio (og screencaps from http://sailorsoapbox.com, from episodes 18 and 51 respectively)

Hina I envisioned with warm-colored hair, and given she’s literally named Sun Sun, I thought that warm yellow-orange (strawberry blonde?) hue would work nicely, same for her eyes. I think she ended up looking too much like Reika tho F

Mio I always envision having a pinker shade of Beryl’s hair color, tho here it’s darker than intended to carry the “cel animation” feel better, brighter colors like the one I used at first wouldn’t become common until digital coloring appeared at the end of the 90′s. ALSO WHAT THE FUCK WAS AN/NATSUMI WEARING IN THE OG SCREENCAP LIKE I KNOW YOU’RE AN ALIEN BUT JESUS GIRL THAT WAS A CHOICE
