I can’t recall - is Pikku short for something? How do you pronounce it? I’ve been reading it in my head as “PICK-uu”.

sounds about right! “pikku” stands for “little” as a prefix for something that is small, like say, Pikku Myy (Little My). I think I originally got the name idea from some Finnish comic i read in which there was a little girl named Pikku and it was so unusual that I just had to name a cat that and it stuck and my sisters call her that. my mom calls her Rotta (”rat”) though.

Ahhhhhh oh no I didn’t mean to make anyone worry! I’ve been suffering badly with my chronic illness and I also fell into a depression hole. I’m crawling out of it, but I’m tireddddd. Every time I click onto social media I feel exhausted, so I’ve not been online much. I finally got out of my funk enough to write a new chapter though!

I’ve missed everyone! I have a million messages and tags to look through, I will try to get to them asap. I’m not ignoring anyone, I’m just tired and sick. >.<

Modern prince Kael finding out his dad is Very Homophobic so his next rebellious phase is to find a boyfriend. Kael has never sucked cock before but he figures he can at least pretend he’s dating a boy just to make his father squirm. The boy he picks? Oh. Oh, maybe Kael IS gay. Maybe just a little. Hmm. Who’s his boyfriend and what’s their dynamic like?

The sheer scandal of the king’s sole heir being gay! Anasterian and the country are not ready for it. For the pretend boyfriend, I think it has to be Illidan -- dad would have a FIT. Even for the most accepting parent, Illidan is not prime boyfriend material lol. I think Illidan would be amused at first, and since he’s such a rebel he likely doesn’t approve of modern monarchy so he’s happy to play his part in sticking the middle finger to it. But I’m not sure Kael could commit, and I’m not sure that Illidan would be happy being the consort of another country’s future king and playing nice with the media and charity events and world tours, so they eventually break it off.

Kael as Lestat, huh? Makes sense - they DO call him "the brat prince" after all!

I’ll admit that my flippant comment was based entirely on my recollections of watching the movie version in 2003, with brief refreshers from tumblr gifsets of Louis and Lestat bitching at each other while everything burns around them, but I’m delighted to hear he’s called “the brat prince” lol! Suits addicted, out of control TBC Kael down to the ground! (That and a quick glance at Wikipedia tells me Lestat revels in drinking human blood and later becomes a rockstar???)

I’m thinking Lor’themar would most fit as Louis, but my brain’s breaking now...
