While its clear Sawyer is deranged I do see Ritterman and Lieth Pierre exaggerating so they could easily throw him under the bus.

I do see the idea that Sawyer just became so warped after his losses and now thoroughly buys into his own hype.

I do like Sawyer and Afton foil each other both are immoral immortal mad scientist but while one is the big bad, Sawyer is one guy who thought he was much more powerful than he really was and the fact Springtrap keeps coming back despite no wanting this, while Sawyer has to return to stop the main villain.

Honestly, how much of Sawyer’s goals would of been the fame and glory really since the guy really seems to just make things just because…
