Atreus was genuinely disheartened by the fact that his powers had to return at night. It felt just good enough to make him want more, and he’d yet to find an effective way of making that happen. At this point he was impatiently watching the sky and gathering whatever he could, waiting for morning and praying that this occurrence didn’t end before the sun came up.
He was posted up outside the doors of the rec center, his head turning as he heard footsteps approaching. “You got the time?” He asked, foregoing his customary habit of being overly polite.
