Dani sits with her cheek propped against the curled fingers of her right hand. By now her fingers had begun to tingle but she ignored the sensation, tapping the flat edge of her blade gently against the rail in front of her.

"Are we there yet?" she fights back a smile, knowing she has asked this exact question a total of nine times already. Being the tenth time he was likely to have some minor form of agitation. And if he wasn't annoyed yet? Then she had some work to do. Or maybe not. He had, after all, promised an 'adventure'. Far be it for her to ruin that now.

"I feel like a kid on Christmas. Or I would, if I had actually enjoyed a Christmas as a kid." there's a brief pause as she considers this thought. "Not that I didn't have them, it was just a rough time." given all that was going on. Money had been tight, her father a drunken mess, her brother sick, and she was.. Well.. Forced to grow up far too fast.

"Look I'm sorry, I'll stop asking if you know." she twirls her blade a little to emphasize the unspoken words.

   “There is a beauty to it, is there not?” Sigyn trails her finger along the ice coated wall. “I wonder why I never saw it before when I spent time on Jotunheim. Perhaps I was too blinded by hatred and war to notice it. To see how the sun glances off it as though it were jewels.” sighing she rests her hand flush against the frozen water. “But now I see it. Now I feel it within my very veins. I fear the woman you once knew is gone.” glancing over her shoulder, she lifts her dark eyebrows. “Does this knowledge trouble you?”
